Hi Sandy,

Thank you to you and all your helpers who made the Sustainable Living Festival a great success!

It was a great day, with such a fantastic range of stallholders and presentations. We were so lucky the weather held out. The NRM North stand was busy right from the get go - I don’t think any of us stopped talking to people until there was a bit of a “lunch-lull” at 12.30, and then it picked up again until about 3pm.

Congratulations on delivering a really well planned and executed event.

Hi Sandy,

Just a short note to congratulate you on the Sustainable Living Festival and to thank you for including the Launceston Chamber of Commerce as part of the launch and Sustainable Business of the Year awards event last Friday.

Both Vice President Kate Daley and I were delighted to be involved and we really enjoyed the evening.

We hope that the Festival itself was a magnificent success. We expect that it’s ripple effect will be felt by many Tasmanians for some time as we move toward a more sustainable future. I note that today the government has pledged to legislate a 2030 net zero emissions target. This is reflective of the momentum generated incrementally by events like yours.

We value the partnership we have with you on the Tamar Valley Leaders Lunches and look forward to continuing to engage.
