COVID PLANNING
Tasmanian State Growth describe COVID 19 Works Safe plans prepared by Cause & Affect as 'exceptional'
One of the most difficult aspects of planning any event since 2020 has been assessing the risks associated with COVID 19. The pandemic poses a health risk to everyone associated with an event: hosts, visitors, volunteers, contractors, exhibitors, stall holders, staff and many more.

Tasmanian Department of Health requirements mean all events, no matter their size, must have a Work Safe plan in place to ensure the risks associated with the virus have been considered and mitigated. Things become a little more complicated when your event attracts more than 1000 people, with plans needing to be assessed by Tasmanian State Growth, and then signed off by the Minister for Health.

Cause & Affect can assist with this planning, boasting a 100% success rate, with State Growth describing Level 2 and 3 event Works Safe plans prepared by Cause & Affect as 'exceptional', providing peace of mind for organisers, and allowing ample time to ensure plans are easily implemented.

With an academic background in Disaster Risk Reduction and improving the disaster resilience of our communities, you can be reassured I will endeavour to consider all aspects your event's COVID 19 planning creating a Work Safe Plan and an accompanying Emergency Management Plan that is thorough and manageable. I will also recommend the services and products required to carry our your approved plan, and I can assist with applying for any funding your event requires to ensure the costs associated with COVID 19 compliance do not eat into your event budget.
If your committee is planning an event, but are concerned by COVID 19 risk assessment requirements, give me a call or flick me an email. With careful planning your event can proceed.
